After having problems with my fifth account I am back on this site. Fished DPR for the past month. Have caught many northern pike. Have been fishing in all areas around park ridge and des plaines. Have caught rock bass. My biggest nothern was 27 inchs. Have caught alot of 2 year or yearling fish. Fish are more spread out than i expected this year. Bass populations seem to be getting high especcialy around the big bend area. Good luck out there.
Here are some of the pike i have caught. 2 dinks and a 27 inch.

i know right i should have hid what i was using. The reason i have three diffrent baits is becasue i lose so many lures. one wrong cast and thats it for a 5 dollor lure.

Nice report, I'm a little north of the Big Bend area, been catching the Rock Bass and Northerns also. Waiting for the river to go down another ft and hopefully start nailing the fish on the fourth weekend
