Jay's General Comments: The Fox Chain of Lakes (Fox Chain O Lakes) is wildly popular for it's fishing opportunities. Muskie hunters find the Fox Chain to be prime hunting grounds for the coveted esox, with very decent numbers and size. And with great numbers of largemouth bass, walleye, channel catfish, and panfish, there is truely something for everyone on the Fox Chain.

Great numbers of fishing opportunities also means great numbers of fishermen. Summer weekends can be very crowded on the Fox Chain of Lakes. And the holiday weekends can see thousands of people descending on the area, which certainly doesn't make the fish want to jump into the boat. But don't let that stop you - there is plenty of water for everyone.

The Fox Chain of Lakes is highly regulated and supervised so you need to make sure you are following all laws and regulations. And make sure you have a designated driver for the boat as they WILL get you for BUI (no kidding)!
