The purpose of this page is to provide anglers of all skill levels with quality information about Chicago area waters. The first time I went to Heidecke Lake, I had gathered as much information as I could, but still got lost, sunburned and only caught a couple of very small fish. Basically, the info I had aquired wasn't very good and wasn't first hand. The info I provide on these pages is first hand accounts of my visits to these waters. Complete and detailed directions, parking information, near by bait shops, near by stores, ammenities, etc. are provided along with information on species of fish available, my hot spots, and my fishing reports.
