Question - Montgomery Dam Channel

Postby ScubaSteve » Sep Tue 08, 2020 3:51 pm

Hey all, quick question. Above the Montgomery dam there is that long narrow channel of slack water. Has anybody ever caught anything up through there? Anyone familiar with the depth? Would it be a good panfish spot? I was thinking it probably holds smaller species in the laydowns and such. Any input/experience? Thanks.

anyone know the approximate depth there? I always just thought it would be a carp spot.

I tried to wade a bit further upstream many years ago. Too deep for that was my depth reading.
