High water

Postby djsend » May Thu 03, 2018 1:02 pm

I love high water! I sat and listened to the storms all night and was like a kid on x-mas eve! I knew I’d check the USGS readings first thing, get the kids off to school, grab my coffee and run out for a quick check of one or two high water spots. Only had about 30 mins and was only able to hit one spot but it didn’t disappoint! First cast I had a bump, 2nd cast I had a smallie. A handful of casts later I had another. Missed a 3rd and had to head off for work. Both measured 16-16.5” and both came on a white swim jig. Did I mention I love high water?

Nice work dj. Yeah the green line reminds me of Eric, but we can't argue about your results either. Too bad many Fox anglers no longer post but thanks for sharing.
