Nice schmallie! Prior to the 3 day mega warm up we were definitely sliding into the fall transition but water temps soared to the low 80’s by Thursday. Last Tuesday we were still catching them on typical summer techniques. I hear you though, I’m looking forward to daytime highs in the 50’s and 55 and under water temps. Heading out for a couple hours Sunday morning. Curious what all the rain and colder temps have done to the bite.

Yeah, the Fox River forum used to hop back in the day. Now I'm not sure if people on this board haven't been fishing it as much or are just tight lipped now. I actually didn't make a single trip to the Illinois stretch this season. Would love to see more reports come in though. Keep them coming for us.

Dog: EAS kept the Fox thread going almost single-handedly. Say what you will about him, it's dried up since he split.

I was referring to before that. Years ago the Fox had the most active threads. On any given weekend day you'd see five or more different people put up a report.

He got upset by some replies to his posts. Took his ball & went home.
