I have a motorized fishing kayak. Are there any free public launches? I’m interested in musky/walleye fishing any areas I should start?

Well first you need your kayak registered since it is motorized. Then you'll need to get a fox waterway sticker AKA "chain sticker" either daily or for the season. You can launch for free at the state park. I'd stick to the upper river on the weekends to avoid the boat traffic. Honestly there are much better places to take your yak nearby

When you are up and legal, launch on 173 just east of Antioch. State Park launch is nice on the river or around by rt. 12. I think you can pay/launch by Channel lake too. Water is pretty high this morning.
