Bait Fridge or Freezer?

Postby Rerin » May Fri 22, 2020 6:28 am

Hey guys

Nice easy one. We only have a tiny freezer like on RefrigeratorFAQ and having it mostly full of bait is a touchy subject. (especially when I bring home 5 more Jack Mackeral to put in it)

Been watching Trademe for something for the Garage. I'm guessing I can keep the snapper left overs from filleting for Berley as well.

Is a fridge good enough, or does it have to to be a freezer?

TIA

You need a fridge for your bait. A freezer is brutal on live minnows and night crawlers and falls under several animal cruelty statutes in California. More importantly, can you drink your beer fast enough before the bottles burst if you go with a freezer for your garage?
