A couple

Postby joetrain » Oct Mon 28, 2019 4:10 pm

I have been getting out 2-3 times a week but not posting any catches. No skunk trips in a long time but nothing note worthy either. I’m mostly getting 1-2 lb bass and my last few outings I have switched it up and did some trolling which resulted in some white bass and white perch.

Here’s two fish that are more common down here than up north. A small pickerel and a blue cat.
Pickerel was caught on a in-line spinner and the cat was on drifted cut bait.

Nice fish joe.
I catch some random pickerel in FL & that 1 is quite a bit larger than the 1s I have come across.

Our FL fishin cap'n called them cats 'slimers' you could tell if they were the ones biting (as we were searching out tarpon) because you could literally see the slime on the leader. Brave of you to hold that one
