Well, actually it was a 20 & 20-1/2
tried fishing after work Thursday but the pond was still partially iced up. Only managed 1 16” bass and a nice 13” crappie. Figured it would be fully open on Friday so I headed to the pond after work, it was. Same patterns I’ve been using for most of the fall. I start with dragging a Craw colored jig in an area, then follow that up dragging a white/chartreuse swim jig. The 20-1/2” hit on the 3rd cast on the Craw jig and the 20 ate the swim jig 55 minutes later. This is slow, slow grind it until you no longer mind it fishing. I’m one 6lbdr short of my 2019 bass goals but working my ass off to try and make it. With 4 days left in the year, I’ll be out there every day trying to put the adage of an unnamed pro angler “Never give up!” To use
Also caught one smaller bass on a Magnum Vision 110. Tried several other jerks, 1/2oz & 3/4oz shad color Red Eyed Shads. Green pumpkin & Blk/blue jigs, Huddleston swimbaits and several types of glide baits. Zilch on those
Sorry about the blurry pic. My camera hates it when I don’t have a solid background it can focus on
