Nice.. lately I've been exploring small ponds too.. either they are stacked with bass or completely empty.. senko will let you know if it's got bass in there fairly quick! The watermelon laminate color is my confidence color.

I wish I had ponds around me but I'm geographically challenged in that way

As a big Senko devotee myself I closed out last season nailing em using the watermellon/orange (half & half) senko, but amid my annual spring skunkings I switched back to my favorite 'Baby Bass' (green) and started hittin' em again. So, I've stuck to that one and it's been producing extremely well. I will on occasion throw a Cinnamon: Black and Purple flake as well, it's basically (natural) worm color.

I did switch to braid too this year but left one reel p line. I don't think I noticed catching less fish this year. Haven't had any breaks with power pro 15 lb test. It's okay line for the price

90 Degrees @1PM, found this guy in a concrete culvert. (Of not, the pond scum does not build up on my braided line as it did with mono)

Went out for 90 minutes on this beautiful evening. Working a shoreline withe the green pumpkin senko and out of the corner of my eye I see a healthy boil about 30' away. Figured it was some bluegills horsing around but you gotta throw into the boil right? 17 1\2 stout tank was the result. Instantly leaped out of the water about a foot, after that he was mine-LOL.
