Early this morning decided to hit local pond. Start throwing flukes and nailed a 13 inch .Then a smaller one then locked into a big one which broke my line.Tied a new leader on nailed another small one then locked into another big one and broke my line again! As I realised I had the drag to tight, I tied on another leader got back at it and landed a hogasaurus at 19 inch maybe 4lb. Perseverance paid off with one of my fish of the year.
Thanks Joe! I caught this on a spinning reel with 10lb.braid....i use a 8 lb.flouro leader about 10.ft on this pond as it is relatively clear. I tend to get more action.
