And then a backup for the backup...I got this one from War Eagle via Amazon. Very nice. It pulls a lot of water and creates a mighty amount of flash. I was thinking 'man, something is gonna hit that (rhyming expletive)' when I cast it shallow to check out the action. It's a 3/8 oz double willow and substantially bigger than the small one I threw before:
I was alternating between it and a senko. Still no luck on the plastic but I got a big hit on the new spinner. A bit of a tank actually, no official measure though (I feel compelled to be xtra fast with fish when people are watching). I was surprised the amount of anglers out, thought the inland trout's siren song would have drawn most away...
So, bigger spinner bigger fish
