Fall season turnover is around the corner. I like to power fish this time of year with a few different lures. I throw 3/4oz-1oz chatter baits, red eye shads or square bill cranks. Chartruse shad or bluegill colors. The new strike king in the largest size works well for square bills. I believe going big in the fall will produce quality bass anywhere. This time of year Baitfish will move towards the shallow parts of any body of water and the bass will follow. Learn the depth of the location your fishing. That will narrow your search time and put you on fish faster. Good luck.

That's great advice...just that Busse is so overfished / heavily pressured I have found that following the logical approach only leads to frustration. I would say your absolutely correct Wik...but be prepared to get skunked on consecutive and multiple occasions at Busse....its a weird place. Also if you like picking weeds out of your line, off your lures, your trolling motor, and fighting the weeks with your paddle its a great place! Sorry to sound so down on the lake but its kinda like a really great watch that never keeps the correct time!

Throw a bass colored lure in all the musky holes. I always say 59degrees is a magical water temperature. Theres some absolute tanks in busse now.
Nature and shit.

Keep calm and fish on...

There's a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid
