Delly 0909 Been A Few Weeks

Been a bit since we have been out in my boat and recent reports from my buds it did not look to promising , the only thing i liked was the cooler temps. Early it seemed like it was gonna be a good day , and while we had about 25 fish on for the dat we lost some nice ones and were left with smaller fish.
Caught 4 Pikes but they were all mid 20s and very skinny
Larry used his buzz shallow and picked up some Bass just off Lake Lawn Resort i mean 5 feet off property ..11am
I got some Bass on Chatters early and missed a few , but on a day like today with such a beautiful day it was just great to be out 10 Bass and 4 pikes not horrible but not great

I miss June too. Fall tIme up north is hard to beat though. Good job old timers. Much better then I did the other day.

Was awesome day, cool weather lite winds, some good fish on. No boat traffic at all.We actually spent a hour or so just looking in some parts of the lake just looking up shallow. Saw 8 Pike in one small area at 1030am just chillin in 2 feet of water amongst weeds and sand ...pretty cool sight to see. They did not spook as we could get right on top of them and they would not even move till i pushed them with pole. Was Larrys 73rd birthday and was really hoping to put him on some big fish....just dint happen today.
