Two of the best lakes in southern Wisconsin. Only a short cast away from Chicago.

Spent 8 hours on such a great day. So relaxing , calm winds, little boat traffic. Caught 10 Bass or so not much size . lost a few good ones so i had my chances. It was so relaxing i anchored the boat at about 11am and slept on floor of boat for a hour. The water is so clear i saw fish of every species, Walleye . Pike. Crappies, Smallie and Largies, and 2 species i have never seen before a Bullhead, and a Carp. The colors are now coming on strong on the trees. I fished for 20 years by boat now and it was one of my top 3 days as far as just relaxing and enjoying the day. The fishing was just off a bit so many fish relating to just off the piers.

This man has caught plenty of fish in his life if he can nap while they swim a few feet away from him. One day...

I know what you mean. Some of my best days on the water was when I was with a good friend, nice day, nice conversation, and we did not get one bite.
24 cans in a case, 24 hours in a day, you do the math

Just stay away from bodies of water with dams and waterfalls.\\Image

That lake kicks ass anytime but it's gotta be really cool in the fall. Good to see you taking advantage while you can.
