Got out with a Old Friend Lenn, is there anything more beautiful than a Lake Geneva sunrise?Image
Saw Deer at launch ,Foxes running thru Mansions backyards, and Turkeys everywhere even at 8amImageImage
Used some live bait from the lakeImage
To catch some Pike and Smallies the size was not much and numbers were low, Senkos still produced a few fish but those numbers are slowly dwindling , water was 63 when we left .ImageImage

Great sunrise. The main reason to catch fish this day was so to not taint the memory of the sunrise.

Every Sunrise leads to a Sunset. I live close to one of the piers off LM and after work I go out to cast even if there's no bite. I get a calming feeling when I'm casting a nice balanced rod and reel setup while the sun sets. It looks cool when the amber shoots through the gaps between the tall buildings and lays over the water.

Nice Zen,. I fish Lake Geneva more than anything for its clear water and unmatched beauty. Do i want to catch fish for sure i do, but on a bad day the scenery makes up for it all the time. I fished yesterday from 11 to 3 and had my worst day of the year , but it was also the most beautiful day of the year, colors on the trees, clear water , little boat traffic, and just drifting down the shoreline casting open water in front of me. Water was only 60-61 yesterday.

Nice fish, and as others have already said that was quite a beautiful sunrise. At least this time of the year you don't have to be up at 5am to witness it.
