Therapy with A old Friend Delly 05 14

I lost the person very close to me on Wednesday and was very depressed, Matt asked me to come out fishing on Delavan Thursday night for the evening bite I jumped at the chance to get out of the house and the gloom of sitting at home, I'met Matt on this site 15 years ago and we have remained friends all these years I'm blessed to be able to fish with him, for his prowess out fishing and his friendship as usual Matt found his fish everywhere we went , and caught many fish but more importantly it gave me a chance to get to get away from it all for a little while thanks mat 4 taking this old guy out it meant a lot to me

Mike,

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss Mike. You and Matt show us what life and friendship is really all about that frequently involves some great fishing outings. God bless.

The best type of therapy always involves a tug.

Hats off to Matt for the session.

Mike and I were talking about fishing being the best therapy. No matter what is happening in your life, fishing just seems to take your mind off of things. Luckily, they were biting from the second we put the boat in and our 4 hour trip went by in the blink of an eye. I'm glad you had a good time.

'Sorry for your loss and happy for your gains (the fish). The latter can never make up for the loss, but it's good to get out and clear your head and enjoy the outdoors.

Friends you can count on when you call and friends that call you when they know you need a friend. Priceless

Sorry for your loss coyote. You are right about fishing being therapy. Nice work getting on the fish. Having good fishing buddies is priceless.

Ah yes, therapy. Good for what ails ya. These kinds of posts keep me going when I can't get on the water myself. Vicarious living through these reports.
