Fished the area near Davis creek on Sunday with some success with cats and smallies. Moved down river at the Warner bridge and it was nearly impossible to fish due to the vegetation which was floating in the water. This junk looked like green, wet home insulation and fouled any presentation other than a top water. Moved again downstream to the Smith islands and found the same. Does anyone know what this stuff is, is this normal in very low water and if it is normal how long it will last. It seemed like it had broke loose from the rocks on the river bottom.
