K3 Boat rentals

Postby DPMike » Feb Sun 16, 2020 11:17 am

Does anyone have info where we could rent a pontoon boat for a leisurely day on the river?

Thanks in advance

Not sure what they all have but I saw this place. Its on the Des Plaines River but near the confluence with the K3.

Don't think you will able to pontoon the Kank near the confluence of the Des Plaines/Illinois river, it's pretty shallow. But the Des Plaines has its dredged shipping lane that is deep enough.

I don't know if theres enough water above the Wilmington dam, maybe some others can fill in.
Nature and shit.

I know you want a 'boat' rental but I believe Reeds has a canoe rental service on the k3 in k3.

Thanks to all. The upshot is there are NO pontoon rentals available on the K3

We will just cruise the Chain (during the week of course-LOL)
