Fishing tips, fishing questions, fishing information, whatever... post here. Not Chicago specific.
I have been a spinning rod fisherman all my life but I recently acquired two Cabela bait casting rods and I'm hoping someone can tell me what type of fishing ( species ) they were designed for and their possible value.
A.) Cabela 44X C44X Graphite CSH 602...one piece ...6'....seems to be at least a Medium action rod....NOTE: the eyelets are OFFSET...the first is on top, the second at 9 o'clock , the rest on the bottom like a spinning rod
B.] Cabela Fish Eagle II CX2 Graphite GCII 562....5' 6" ...one piece
Both in new condition ...Fuji reel mounts, line wt. 8-17 lbs, lure wt. 1/4 to 5/8 oz
Any advice on design purpose and value would be much appreciated.

Can't help much other than to say I have 3 Fish Eagle 54s - UL, M & MH. All 7'. For the money they are really good rods.
Keep calm and fish on...
There's a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid
