Fish ID, Please..

Good Day Anglers,

I need some help with a fish ID please? I'm new to freshwater fishing, and not positive on this guy? Thank you in advance!

Looks like a Brown trout. Where'd you catch it?

looks like a decomposing coho - rotting skin + white gums ... can't tell how much the tail is forked, but profile looks more salmon than trout to me.

Did you JUST catch this fish?

Yes. This photo was taken moments after pulling him out.

Looks like a fall run coho. I'm with McChou on this one.

"Trolling," I take it, Salty?

Upon further review it might be a coho. Another possibility - although somewhat remote - is that it's a splake. This is a hybrid of brook & lake trouts. Not sure 've heard of them being in Lake Michigan. But they're in Superior so it's possible...
