PSA: Ticks are back

Postby JB » Apr Mon 23, 2018 8:03 pm

Sitting on my couch today after doing a little yard work and felt something crawling on my neck. Cornered the little sucker and determine that the ticks are back. Yesterday I was out doing so hiking by around so I’m not sure if he was a hitchhiker or if I picked him up today. I figured we had a couple more weeks but I guess not.
To fish or not to fish......that's a stupid question.

Wonderful

I thought the long winter would have diminished 'em, or at least give 'em a later start.

Big thanks for the heads up.

Unfortunately cold weather doesn't much effect the little bastards. Ticks can go dormant for years and spring to life whenever a warm blooded something passes within reach. Great argument against "intelligent design".
Keep calm and fish on...

There's a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid

Cant wait for winter to drive away all the ticks and mosquitoes...

Ha Phil you are twisted! I’m not happy about the ticks but that’s just crazy talk.
