No argument here, either. Record should be rod and reel. Sucks that dinosaur had to die just for him to find out it doesn't qualify, though. I think the oldest aged blue cat was 25 and weighed 80lbs. So that fish was probably 30+ years old. Damn shame. It has likely been swimming around as long as I've been alive.

Reminds me of how the DNR shocks a lake and posts pics of a new "IL record breaker" but it hasnt been caught yet... :crazy: :think:
