Interesting stuff. Too bad commercial fleets can't practice C&R. Too pile onto all the other environmental challenges we're facing, what will we do if fish stocks crash (more than they already have) & we can't rely on the oceans for food?

I heard sometime ago that a fish grows based on environment as well. If so by moving the fish into a lab I would think there would be a difference in size of habitat that could have some effect as well if true.

I see differences in lake SMB vs. river SMB. I would assume its from swimming in current 24/7
