Postby Fishy Bitch » Mar Fri 20, 2020 6:24 pm

Anyone know if current license is extended past 3/31? It might be tuff getting the new one before 4/1.

I don't have a printer at home so I don't know what I am going to do.

Apparently ink is the new TP, all the stores are out so I can't print either.

Buy it and just save the .pdf file on your phone. I always keep mine on my phone in case I forget the paper copy or my wallet in the car or something.

I think most would make an exception. Especially right now. Hell, I've had one make an exception for me before.

X2. Seems like "small potatoes" given the current climate.

Joe sharpen some hooks. I started experimenting using a Dremel and various stones and sand paper. If the hook is blunt it seems to almost get the edge back but still have to do some final passes with a file.

I don’t know why more states don’t do this. But in Wisconsin you do need a paper copy when fishing the Great Lakes.

Personally, I don’t even know why you need to carry anything other than your license or ID. A game warden is going to look up your license anyways.

I was actually walking around without a physical license for the most of the last summer, being completely certain that a pic is enough.

Went thru my wallet last year & threw out licenses from 2015 - 2018. So that's why it got so uncomfortable to sit on!
Keep calm and fish on...

There's a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid

Im very busy actually but intend to work on gear. For starters i cut hooks off a bunch of lures and will add new hooks. I have a box of lures that i separated that need hook sharpening. I patched 2 waders and boots. I have a couple new baitcaster sissy rods i havent used yet. I need to spool those gizmos and i need to practice with them, birds nest them, then get mad and toss them in river....so i have a few things will try to get to over next several weeks if not 6 feet under
