Panfish fiesta part deux

Postby twitchy89 » Oct Sat 14, 2017 9:51 am

Went to opeka again and did pretty good on the panfish. My biggest gill was 8". I have a feeling their might be some really big gills somewhere in that lake judging by how thick all the ones I caught were.

Nice. At Opeka it seems to be if you find a spot with 'gils in it you can just keep pullin' em out until you run out of bait. :D

The crappie bite seems to come and go. Good to see you got one though, I was out last week and not a crappie could be found.

I actually got a bunch of yellow bass and three crappies but I just put up a picture of the biggest one. I was just fishing from the boat dock by the main building, and minstrel that's exactly what I did haha. bluegill one after another all cpr'd.
