few evenings

Visited Opeka few times over last two weeks. Did not catch anything of any substantial size, but the fish were caught on minnow imitations I tied myself which was pretty exciting.
Few bass similar to the pictured one, and one crappie.

Nice going. Catching fish with flies you tie never gets old, and those little bass love to play with baitfish patterns. I’ve been having some fun with the pannies and small bass using the same. The window is closing fast though, the weeds and pads are coming soon and then it’s time for stepping up to poppers and shoot for the big boys. Good luck.

Very cool, I think it's great you challenge yourself with the flies. I'm thinking things will certainly pick up soon, hope you find a biggun 'cause they are out there for sure!
