The "Big Pond" is loaded with salmon, trout, perch, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, carp and more.
I am wondering if it's too early in the season to go for perch on Montrose Harbor? Is there much activity in April, or is it best to wait for the mid-June re-opener? Thank you!

I've never had luck this early in the year for perch, but cohos and browns are probably in. Shortly after that, smallies. At least, that has been my experience. This time of year, anything on the line feels great!!
