Great news, Mike! I was thinking about asking you how Sand was doing. I've been looking at BPM's videos from 2014 of my pike and Sammi's huge bass. I'm ready!

With the warm temps so much for fishable ice here. This week will destroy the rest of the ice

wont matter too much. the ice we had with the fluctuating temps and a little snow was garbage. this weekend it will firm up fast and solid.

The frozen dpr... First drilled right next to shore and found 2-3 inches of ice on Saturday. So, I literally walked out 10ft to set up 1 tip up in 4fow and walked back to shore to watch in between checking other ice thicknesses. After an hour I tried to retrieve it and it all caved in with me safely and I might add gracefully  dancing a couple feet backwards to safer ice. I was able to retrieve the tip up that was floating with my pike rod and reel in the truck. Would I have done the same thing in deep water? F--- No.

Had a half dozen roaches so was debating on pulling up to your house Mike and drowning them in your puddle to scratch the itch, but felt similar ice would be showing up over there as well.

Damn Mike I guess I had to log back in to get Sand Lake Reports......

With the warm spell it will be gone by Wednesday.

However, hope to get out there after Xmas.

New Year's Eve?

Will have the kiddos but the harsh temps next week will need to rebound back into the 30s for them... Ice should be plenty good by then considering the cold wave coming...

Hows the ice looking Mike with the warmth? Hoping the nights kept it intact to come up Saturday morning?
