Pistakee 1/6

Postby Luv Fishing » Jan Sat 06, 2018 1:31 pm

Got on the hard water around 630 and fished till 10am. Off the bat the gas auger wouldn't start. Tried for 20 minutes no glory. A guy near me was cool enough to drill a whole for me. Thanks again! Bunker down in 16 fow and the screen was lit up like a Christmas tree from 16fow to 9fow. The crappie bite was decent as I was picking them off on top of the school. 16 crappies 6 keepers one measuring 13". A bunch of Sheeps, small whites and couple cats.

Sounds like a decent day after all the trouble.

Nice job! How was the ice? I’ve been thinking about making a weekend of Pistakee soon.

The ice thick 10-12". Quads and snowmobiles are in full force.

Good report from pistakee!
To fish or not to fish......that's a stupid question.
