Waking up!

POst reports from those private lakes and ponds. No need to give up the location. Sometimes just knowing they're biting in a region can be a help to others.

Waking up!

Spent a couple of hours out this evening. Had the most luck with a Mepps Dressed Aglia Spinner in gold. About Had about 15 dink LMB and this one. Nice to see that things are starting to warm up a bit! Will be hitting the rivers over spring break so we will see how that goes. May even take a trip on the big lake since I have a new, bigger, yak to fish off of. Just gotta figure out the best place to put in.

Yay! A person I've never seen before making a fishing post. It feels like there are just 20 of us chatting with each other...all the time, like every day. Welcome to the board. I love my Mepps #4 & #5 red/orange bucktail dressed spinner for early season bass. Keep the posts coming

Please accept this hearty welcome to the forum. I caught one my first, best bass as a kid, in the Skokie Lagoons, using a Mepps Comet. Looking forward to more posts Poiman.

Welcome I'm just a commenter with not much positive insite to fishing this year. Unless you want to know all about the interstate wildlife violators compact! Counting down until dec 9th hopefully they will still be biting.

Damn - I hate it when we get newbies who are better fishermen than I am. Oh wait, everyone's a better fisherman than I am. Welcome.
Keep calm and fish on...

Does this mean I'm not the new guy anymore?

Nice fish, and welcome!
