There are seemingly endless amounts of rivers, creeks and their tributaries throughout northeast Illinois.

1st Salt Creek chub of 2020

Hit SC for a couple hours this afternoon. Tied on a yellow-skirted 00-size Mepps.

Caught 3-4 'gills and a 7" chub. Moved upstream to spot that frequently holds bass. Spotted 3-4 bass cruising together. The biggest was around 10". Pulled the spinner right in their faces. They couldn't have cared less. :(

I know how you feel, I often put my tally whacker in my wife's face and she as well can care less.

Maybe you should see how she feels about a 00-size Mepps.
