Been putting some time in this year trying different spots in mostly the southern stretch of the creek. Found a productive spot today. Bass were on a feeding frenzy. Better sized ones were around 12 to 13 inches and around 1.5 lbs give or take (mostly take) but the quantity was there and for salt creek I don't expect great quality. Still a fun day throwing my usual keitech swing impacts on a owner 2/0 twist lock hook. Lots of small ones and around half a dozen or so average ones. They were putting up fun fights for being creek bass. They didnt have much length but had fat bellies to make up for it. Also got a nice sized chub around 8 inches. Pics below.. all different bass except the one measured.
