Rambler 7 - Salt Creek 1

Hit one of my spots yesterday for a couple hours. Tied on a 1/16 white jig head with a pink twister & caught 2 bass almost right away. Moved further upstream but didn't get any action.

Sat down to take a break & appreciate the day. Beautiful afternoon. Sunshine & sprinkles - sounds like my granddaughters. :D Buttercups are beginning to bloom and the violets are right behind them.

Switched to a yellow jig with a green & white twister & safety pin spinner and walked back to my starting point. Caught 4 more bass - some were nice sized & fought well. Finished up with a large, very nicely colored chub. Made another cast & lost my lure on a snag. Decided I'd done well enough so I packed it in.

Keep calm and fish on...

There's a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid
