Hot times on Salt Creek

There are seemingly endless amounts of rivers, creeks and their tributaries throughout northeast Illinois.

Hot times on Salt Creek

But I ain't talkin' about the fishing.

Went to one of my spots yesterday afternoon for an hour or so of wet wading. Unfortunately I had to share it with an extended family picnicing & splashing in the creek.

HOT!!! Caught 1 mini-micro dink chub not big enough to waste pixels on. Then the heat got the better of me & I packed in it. At least it cooled down over night.
Keep calm and fish on...

There's a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid
