It's Time for a Summertime Dream...

Postby Rambler » Jan Wed 03, 2018 11:41 am

Went for a short walk in the woods today. Warmer than it's been but still COLD. Couldn't help but think about warmer days to come and warmer days of the past.

Fox & Indian Peaks - fishing. The rest just site seeing.

Here are a few more. Didn't fish in any of them - you can see why.

GREAT car. 1100 CCs of romping, stomping boxer power. Probably around 65 HP. Always got 38 MPG. Never used oil. Best of all, I could give it a complete tuneup & oil change in 30 min. Now I can't do shit to my cars because I don't have a computer & I'm too old to lie on my back to drain the oil.

I especially like the last shot in the first set "Foot Hills in Co." Awesome composition, the eye is led straight thru the image. In the bombardment of photos out there today, you son't see that a lot. Betting that's slide film also and I bet it looks wicked projected as all of these would.
Nice work man!

Thanks. Really appreciate that coming from you.

Yes, slide film. Kodachrome 64 to be exact. All were taken with Canons - either TLb or FTb. Still have them - great cameras. Don't much project them anymore. Too much hassle. In the process (slowly) of digitizing them all. I have a library of over 20k.
