Deep Belly Slough 4/15/2012

After being skunked by Busse for almost two hours I decided to hit up the Deep Belly! Was there for maybe an hour working all the tree over hangs and murky water. Right before the periodic rains began I caught this guy. He wasn't too big but since I was only with just a camera phone I had no choice to put him down snap a quick one and get him back in. Also the winds were quite intense often sending my spinnerbait farther than I was casting for. All in all fished for 4 hours after that massive storm but was able to get one!

Congrats on the first! Belly Deep is one those highly pressured CCFPD lakes, so catching a decent fish like that is tough work. Great job
