I've never been here before until today. The super deep water caught my eye on the FPDCC Fishing guide
. It's on the way home from work and I'm always scoping for new places to kill an hour. The water drops off pretty deep right from shore and it's crystal to the bottom. I think if it was sunny you might be able to see nearly everything underwater. I was sight fishing and couldn't see anything moving for the entire length of the more traveled side of the shore. I moved around to where there was some surface disturbance where it looked like a small fish was hitting at some gnats or flies on the water. I threw a Zoom watermelon worm rigged texas style and dangled it in front of the face of a bass I could see. Pretty fun to watch a fish hit at your bait.
Nothing earth shattering, but some great practice. Almost felt like fishing in an aquarium.
