Maple

Hey guy and gals,

long time reader, thought i'd throw up a post about Maple and give back to the forums. I thought i'd give Maple another shot since Wiktor's been having a lot of success there lately. For the last month i've been hitting up maple lake on Saturday mornings between 8 and noonish. I've been having success fishing from shore throwing 3/8oz black & blue fleck and green chatter baits. i've also been throwing a texas rig with black and blue fleck yums. the best bass came last month on the texas rig. which is the picture i'd i added to this post. Since then its been hit or miss. As of late i've been getting 2 to 4 pounders when the bite is on. Its funny they always seem to come in bunches of 3 or 4 and then bite dies off pretty quickly. i'm guessing there's a school of them swimming around feeding.

There are some chunks in there. Good info and nice read! Welcome to the board.
To fish or not to fish......that's a stupid question.

HOG!
Keep calm and fish on...

There's a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid

Thanks guys!

Johnny - Ya that was me you ran into the other day. That whole stretch we were fishing usually produces when the weather cooperates. Too bad the weather wasn't cooperating that day, definitely a miss day. If you see me out there again say hi, names Pat.
