You can try the Sag Quarries or lemont quarries a litte further west...

Joe's pond, Turtlehead, Arrowhead, Papoose all have decent LMB and pannies

I used to fish more often out there yrs ago. All pretty good fishing that way and all in a close proximity so you can bounce around.

Google Cook County forest preserve district and download the guide book. It has aerial
pictures of all the lakes plus info.

I know people would cast spinnerbaits for pike on the Des plaines at willow springs rd in the forest preserve there.
