Few at the sag quarries 7/22

Fished 7am to 10am. The over cast was nice keeping the temps cool but when the sun popped out the heat was back on. Caught both on weightless texas rigged 7" power worm black/blue fleck. East quarry full swamp mode and fairly shallow. Cover everywhere and thicker pads than a few weeks ago. Not a single foot of clear water where i caught the 16" bass.West is fine and slowly kept getting crowded. Seen maybe 2 other guys try fishing the east.

No unfortunately. The quarry closest to 83 looks perfect for a small watercraft too. I think of that everytime I go there. So many untapped spots that have to hold monsters on side you can't fish. The quarry actually goes up against the concert wall that holds up 83 so lots of structure and islands to fish. DNR always there too so can't get away with it either if you try going stealth.

Yea I started fishing with these many years ago and been sitting in my bag. Figured I would go back to my basics a little. It's weird though it's almost a darker purple than a black. Junebug, red shad and tequila sunrise are some other colors i have used.
