I was lucky enough to catch a 43 and a 40 inch. Fish came on phantom glide baits and bucktail.

Sweet. Will be up Vilas County way in a couple weeks, hoping for some of those.

Big St. Germain. Only our 2nd year fishing there, 4 of us for 6 days last year and we caught 3 fish (1 LM and 2 Perch). Hoping it's a little better this year. lol

We fished Big Arbor just West a couple miles for 15+ years, decided to try BSG for a change.

I remember an outing with my dad when I was a wee little lad, about 6 years old. We moved up into the ST Germain River from Pickerel lake. He had me set up with a 12' cane pole and some night crawlers. I had gotten a few panfish. By now was somewhat bored and looking at something else, not my bobber. Dad tells me to set the hook. I grabbed the cane pole, give it a yank (used that just for you LY). I almost had the pole ripped out of my grip. Dad managed to grab it and together we landed a 2.2# walleye. One of the few times I out-fished him. He told the story so many times I remember it well. Thanks Dad!
