If you like the taste of crab or lobster you should like this simple way to cook up some salmon or trout in a non traditional way. It's very simple boil up a pot of water(size depending on how much fish being cooked). Ad some salt into the mix before boiling. I use a 1/4 cup using a 1 gallon pot. Take your fresh fillet and cube it up1x1 or 2x2 depending on fillet size. Drop cubed cuts into the boiling salt water for just a couple of minutes. The cubes will float to the top and turn color slightly when they are done. Remove with a straining spoon and serve with some melted butter, lemon wedges, and if you like a little parsley if ya want to pretty it up some. It tastes great and it is fast and easy to prepare.
So...I gave this a little try in a split roll. I wouldn't say its the greatest thing in the world...but it's not terrible and would definitely fix again in a pinch.
