Question about saltwater fish

Postby Jay C » May Fri 17, 2013 9:29 pm

I'm moving to the coast of Georgia in four months and plan on doing a lot of surf fishing. I have never cleaned a saltwater fish and was wondering if they are just like freshwater fish, with the exception of not all saltwater fish being edible? What I mean by that is, do you just gut, scale, and bake or are there other steps??

Anything from snapper to mackeral. Anything I can pull in from the beach or a pier.

I just spent a few months this winter surf fishing. The fish I kept were easy to fillet.
