Hello Again Fellow Fishermen

Postby Fishin Jim » May Sun 09, 2021 2:11 pm

Hi Guy & Gals. I haven't posted for quite awhile, but I've been a member for a few years. As a matter of fact I had to re-register because I couldn't remember my password. I'm on a new laptop, so I've been having some issues with passwords. I fish Deep Lake mostly and will be out on Deep for the first time in two years this coming week, and man am I ever EXCITED! I'm pretty old (turning 67 June 4th) and been having some health issues last 2 years , hence my absence from fishing. It's going to be interesting with between my lower back prob's and vertigo to boot, but I'll tough it out :-)
Hopefully I'll have some pic's to post, but either way I will report on wx conditions (water temp etc) and overall state of the boats ,lake etc. So wish me luck as I will do for all of you.

Good Luck & Happy Angling!
Fishin Jim.

Welcome back and Joe's right - I'd trade birthdays with you in a flash.
Keep calm and fish on...

There's a fine line between fishing and just sitting there looking stupid

Welcome back and looking forward to your posts. I'm planning on a lot of outings to Deep Lake this year.

Sorry, my sweat hog attempt at humor... figured with everyone saying "Welcome back...." it might be Kotter.

I liked Kotter
Rambler has you by a few years. I got you by a few months. We are a sometimes happy "family". Look forward to your posts, be careful with that vertigo.

Welcome back! Let us know how the fishing works out! (Must be a lot of "mature" guys on here, I turned 67 in March, so you're not alone!)

And I have no nostalgia whatsoever for sappy 70's Sitcoms, but after reading this thread this damn song kept going through my head.

Good fishing,

Steve
