Fishing show

Did anyone go this year? Went by before I knew it. What did I miss?

You missed getting roped into an overpriced fishing vacation, pick pockets, and a contest entry with a 1 in 500 odds of winning the corona virus.

Carbon copy of last year's show. The pickle vendor wasn't selling the pickle salsa this year so they didn't get any of my money. It did get me excited for open water season to come back, though. I was really down on my doldrums at the end of last season.

The eye candy wearing spanx at a few of the booths was well worth the price of admission.

Oof ain't that right. The one clothing booth near the trough (based out of Schaumburg apparently) had one that was a beaut.

Probably my lightest purchase show in years. Grabbed a few of the things on my list and only one bait that wasn't but it was marked down from $25 to $10 so...

and yes, Woo and I had our favorite yoga pants wearing nymphet to ogle :D

Noticed both of these things. The spicy pickle salsa I got last year was fire.

I actually bought more than I have in the past. Some plastics, zman spinnerbaits, and a jig from Sasquatch hair that Heddon recommended I check out. My buddy picked up a mojo musky rod at a fair price too. Didn't catch any seminars but I like chatting with the reps and a few others who are there every year.
