Abraham Lincoln did his homework by the light of his fireplace doing his math on a shovel, writing with a piece of coal, then wrote his essays on an axehead with the same piece of coal would be my guess. The essays were lost the next morning when he used the axe to make a split rail fence. The young man was in desperate need of an essay service prior to his next composition class. If you logically think it through, it all makes sense.
