8/25 Report

Postby Big Flipper » Aug Sat 25, 2007 9:54 pm

Went to Lake Arlington tonight from 6:30 to 8:00 with one of my daughters who is home from college. The water is high from the storms at about 2 feet above normal. We fished all along the southeast shore with topwaters and senkos. The weeds are not yet visible. She got a million nibbles on a floating minnow Rapala and I landed this little fatty.

Nice fish there, Kevin! I was actually on my way to Lake Arlington after finding all the roads closed in DesPlaines while heading to OCC. But when River Road was closed going north of Euclid, wound up at The Glen.

What was the size of that fish?

Nice looking bass flip!
If you're fishing slow and not catching anything, fish slower.

I estimate he was about 18' long and just under 4lbs.
