Went out from 1 to 3 pm. It was cold and windy out, but I still managed to catch 3 decent Largemouths on a swimbait

Nice. I haven't had much luck out there this year yet, but haven't been back in a few weeks.

Just fished Lake Arlington for the first time today and caught three largemouth about a pound a piece on a 1/2 ounce tandem spinnerbait. Shoreline access was a bit spotty for a bank walker and dodging the aggressive nesting red winged blackbirds didn't help but I'll be back.

I've actually been attacked at Lake Arlington by those black birds! Very protective of their areas. Been thinking about fishing there lately. May have to give it a go again.
